Mad River Valley Planning District: Natural Elements Inventory for the Towns of Fayston and Waitsfield. Includes the identification, inventory and assessment of wetlands, wildlife habitat and connecting lands, vernal pools, upland natural communities and rare elements.
Addison County Regional Planning Commission: Phase I Stream Geomorphic Assessment and Phase 2 Bridge/Culvert Assessment of the Middlebury River Watershed. Includes the Main Stem of the Middlebury River and major tributaries.
Town of Huntington and Vermont Agency of Natural Resources: Phase I and Phase II Stream Geomorphic Assessments of the Huntington River Watershed. Included the Main Stem of the Huntington River and major tributaries. Project completed with the National Wildlife Federation.
Town of Norwich/Norwich Conservation Commission: Vernal Pool mapping and assessment project for the Town of Norwich. Includes remote mapping and field verification and assessment.
Town of Bradford/ Bradford Conservation Commission: Wetlands Inventory for the Town. Identification, mapping and assessment of the wetlands in the town of Bradford.
Town of Woodstock/Woodstock Conservation Commission: Wetlands Inventory for the Town. Identification, mapping and assessment of the wetlands in the town of Woodstock including remote mapping, field work and detailed functions and values analysis
Town of Worcester/ Worcester Conservation Commission: Natural Resources Inventory including wildlife habitat, natural communities, wetlands and rare elements. Project includes the identification, inventory and relative ranking of significant natural habitats.
City of Montpelier/ Montpelier Conservation Commission: Natural Features Inventory including significant wildlife habitat, natural communities wetlands and rare elements. Project included remote landscape analysis, establishing evaluation criteria in a ranking matrix and field visits to significant sites.
Town of Huntington/ Huntington Conservation Commission: Wildlife Habitat Potential of Huntington’s Forested Areas. Project involved creating a map detailing the wildlife habitat potential of forested areas in the town of Huntington. Project included remote landscape analysis, establishing evaluation criteria in a ranking matrix and field visits to significant sites.
Town of Enosburgh/ Enosburgh Planning and Conservation Commissions: Natural Resource and Open Space Inventory including an inventory of wildlife habitat, natural communities, wetlands, prime agricultural land and significant open space. Input from the citizens in the town was used to identify important scenic and ecological resources. This information along with existing digital and paper databases was used to create an ArcView compatible map of these resources in the town. These resources were assessed based on their scenic or ecologic importance for town officials to use in the planning process.
Cabot Conservation Commission: Work with Cabot Conservation Commission to develop a series of watershed events in Cabot.
Charlotte Conservation Commission: Define, delineate and map wildlife habitat; write wildlife section of Town Plan.
Town of Sharon.: Testifying in Act 250 on Shoreline Issues-VT. Act 250.
Vermont Nongame and Natural Heritage Program: Developed a methodology to map vernal pools in Vermont on a town-wide scale. Mapped vernal pools in two pilot towns, Newbury and Woodbury.
State of Vermont/Department of Housing and Community Development/ Vermont Agency of Natural Resources: Natural Resources Inventory for four (4) Interstate Interchanges in Vermont. Identification and assessment of wetlands, streams, wildlife habitat, and upland natural communities and the creation of GIS files and tables for each of the study areas.
State of Vermont Agency of Natural Resources Enforcement Division: Wetland restoration plan development and implementation for disturbed peat land in Jamaica, Vermont.
VT Department of Forest, Parks and Recreation: Ecological inventory for a map of Natural Communities on Mt. Mansfield State Forest. Rare plant and significant natural community inventory.
Smugglers’ Notch Ski Area: Environmental permitting, wetland delineation, wildlife assessments, rare threatened and endangered species inventories, bear habitat review and mapping, and natural history interpretive trail development.
Jay Peak Ski Resort: Wetland delineations, wildlife determinations, bear habitat assessment, rare threatened and endangered species review.
